About Us
Welcome to the Paxton House Antiques Fair, a vibrant celebration of timeless treasures, community, and the joy of discovery.
Our story begins with Seppe Anthony, Dennis Davidson, and Paul Yousaf, three passionate antique enthusiasts who first worked together at Fern Avenue Antiques in Jesmond, Newcastle. Inspired by the memory of Davie Wright, the creative force behind Glam Racket Interiors, they launched this fair to honour his legacy and bring their team back together.
With decades of experience on the North East antiques scene, they envisioned creating a unique event on the North Northumberland/Scotland border. After selling Fern Antiques in 2023, Seppe realised there was a gap in the market for a feel-good antiques fair—and the idea for the Paxton House Antiques Fair was born.
Meet the Team
Seppe Anthony – A lifelong antique enthusiast who fell in love with flea markets as a child and has been a staple of the antiques scene ever since.
Dennis Davidson – Inspired by his great aunt, an antiques dealer, Dennis brings an unmatched passion for woodwork and enthusiasm to the fair.
Paul Yousaf – A dedicated professional in the trade since 1989, Paul’s love for antiques fuels his commitment to creating an exceptional event.

The Fair Experience
Our inaugural fair in June 2024 attracted nearly 2,000 visitors, rave reviews, and even a visit from Salvage Hunters. Held at the picturesque Paxton House, the event features:
- A large onsite marquee with 25 indoor dealers and over 40 individual outdoor sellers.
- A diverse range of antiques, including furniture, decorative pieces, salvage items, jewellery, ceramics, curiosities, and more.
- Food stalls and a bar offering wine and beer to enhance your day out.
